Day 1: Casablanca – Meknes
After meeting you at the airport we will start our tour by visiting Hassan II Mosque before departing to Meknes to arrive early in the evening. Overnight accommodation at a riad.
Day 2: Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
After breakfast we will depart Meknes to visit the holy city of Moulay Idriss and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. We will drive through the rural areas where we will see the hills full of olive and fruit trees. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Ouezanne before continuing through the Rif mountains to ‘blue town’ of Chefchouen. Overnight accommodation at a riad.
Day 3: Chefchaoue You will have a free day to explore Chefchouen. You can visit the gardens of the Kasbah and their small museum that a modest collection of old arms as well as instruments, textiles and some historical photos of the city lodges; also there is a gallery of art within the walls. You can explore the Medina to see the amazing array of shops or take a walk one of the many walking tracks that depart form the village. Overnight accommodation at a riad.
Day 4: Chefchaouen to Fes
After breakfast in the Riad You will have the morning to relax or take in more sights of Chefchaouen. We will make an an early afternoon departure to Fes. Overnight accommodation at a riad.
Day 5: Fes Exploring
After breakfast in the Riad You will have a guided tour to discover the the medina and the famous Souks of Fes, its narrow cobbled streets are filled with ancient mosques and towering green-glazed minarets. You will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fes. The tour will include a visit to the tannery and the ceramics cooperative to see the traditional Moroccan crafts. Overnight accommodation at a riad.
Day 6: Fes – Ilfrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga
After breakfast in the Riad in Fes and drive southward to Azrou and Ifrane in the Middle Atlas mountains, stop in the Cedar forest to see the Barbarian Ape in nature. We’ll travel through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock. Taking in views of the Middle Atlas tray, you’ll notice how the scenery exchange to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city Errachidia. After lunch, continue our journey through the Ziz valley and to Rissani
your camel Will Be Awaiting you. After a glass of mint tea, you mount your camel and, guided by an Experienced camel man, start your safari to explore Within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg Chebbi. Here You Will Spend your night under the stars in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Dinner Will Be served in the tent Where You Will Spend The Night.
Day 7: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge
Your camel man will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to your hotel. Enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in the hotel, you’ll leave for Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here you will have the opportunity to hike along the valley.After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll
see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation in hotel in the heart of the gorge.
Day 8: Dades Gorge – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast in the hotel we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazat. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Continue to Ouarzazat, “the Hollywood of Africa”. Lunch at the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. After the visit of this UNESCO matrimonial historical site, now ahouse of the Glaoui family members, our journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n’tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving at your accommodation overnight in a riad.
Day 9: Exploring Marrakech:
After breakfast in the Riad, you can start exploring Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”. We’ll ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Saadian tombs, the Palace of El Bahia and the Ben Youssef Coranic School as well as the souks. Lunch is at a restaurant near the square before we’ll continue exploring the souks and Medina. Again in the afternoon, you will have some free time to wander by yourself Overnight accommodation at a riad.
Day 10: Marrakech – Departure:
After breakfast in the Riad you’ll be transferred to your chosen airport, your driver will have you at the airport in good time for your flight where he will bid you farewell.
